Paul had a birthday! Shout hooray! Because I believe in celebrating for as long as possible, Paul’s birthday started Saturday afternoon with swimming fun at Lava. His official Birthday was last Sunday. After church we had a party. My mom and Sara came over to join in the fun. Streamers were hung (I forgot to take a picture of them, but it probably involved at least two hours of my Saturday afternoon) and a crumbly cake was decorated. We had a feast of grilled ribs, pasta salad, and coleslaw. Paul conquered Sara and me at Ticket to Ride. And then we ate cake and opened presents. Paul now owns a large charcoal grill. It can cook 21 hamburger patties. It also is like 3 feet off the ground so no more bending over to flip burgers. Another highlight of Paul’s Birthday- a phone call from 1 niece and 2 nephews singing “Happy Birthday” with some vibrato to their favorite uncle. Thanks Shannon! Happy Birthday Paul!
