Spring has finally sprung! Sort of. It has been snowing all day. Booo! We have been enjoying some spring like weather the past few days. Playing outside, walks, and soaking in the warm sun have been major priorities in our household. Saturday was especially springy. I went on a run in the morning and surprised myself by still being able to run after a winter off. I wasn’t fast and I didn’t run far, but I went farther than I thought I could. Then we went snow shoeing. It was beautiful to be outside in the snow without freezing. Paul carried Theo in the pack. Theo was not impressed with being strapped in. He fell asleep; it was so cute. Looking forward to many more warm days!

A Style of His Own
Theodore chose his own clothes the other day. He also chose the order to put them on. It was so cute. I couldn’t look at him without laughing. Camo sweat pants and a button up shirt under a Maui t-shirt. So stylish.
Theodore has learned how to throw things in the garbage can. Mostly garbage is placed in there, but he has put in utensils and toys. Yesterday he threw away an Easter decoration. I guess it was trash.

Weekend Plans
We just got back from a quick trip to Ogden for a GEAPS (something to do with grain) meeting that Paul had Friday evening. While I wasn’t looking forward to going to the meeting or sleeping in the hotel room with a teething kiddo, I am glad that I got to spend the weekend with my little family.
Paul loves showing Theo off, so we stopped at the Scoular office in Ogden to show Theo off. They have a dog there and Theo loved playing with him. The dog was not as impressed with Theo and kept hiding. We stayed at the Marriot and had a great bbq style dinner and enjoyed entertainment from an illusionist. Theo and I went up the elevator and down the stairs during the meeting portion of the meeting. We watched many episodes of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. And slept horrible. All of us.
Today we ate breakfast at the hotel and then went to the Treehouse Museum in downtown Ogden. On the drive down I told Paul we couldn’t do anything fun because I forgot the camera. The Treehouse Museum was so much fun! The theme of the whole museum is reading and books so they had rooms on different countries, Utah and Native Americans. In the Medieval themed room there were chess pieces as big as Theo. And of course there was a treehouse. We stopped to see Paul’s great aunt Evelyn and chatted with her for a while, catching up with the happenings of family and eating Oreo’s. And on the way home we stopped at Smith & Edwards because every time I pass by that place I really want to stop so we did. When I was little I remember stopping there once and getting a big box of Swedish Fish. It wasn’t as awesome as I remember but they still have Swedish Fish.
Now we are home, Theo is in bed not quite asleep, and Paul and I are going to play Power Grid. Happy weekend!
